What do I need to implement Ready Receipts?

For your online storefront, you only need a Receipt Adapter for your POS/shopping cart software. We build these plug-ins for popular shopping cart applications (such as Magento, GSI Commerce, OS Commerce, etc.).

For brick and mortar solutions, there are a few options for a Receipt Adapter: you can either write your own software that calls our web service and transmits receipts, or if you use a supported POS system we already have the Receipt Adapter written for you (Microsoft Dynamics, Counterpoint, etc.).

What about security/PCI compliancy?

We absolutely understand the security concerns and needs of merchants. We are fully PCI compliant and don’t transmit personal payment information. We only transmit exactly what is on the receipt and store it in our highly secure data center.

For highly secure environments, we encourage you to write your own web method to send receipts to Ready Receipts. This reduces the requirement of time consuming code reviews and legal/liability analysis.

What about personal privacy?

Consumer privacy is a concern for everyone. We built Ready Receipts with this is mind. We use encryption and security best-practices every chance we get, from transmitting data to displaying it at ReadyReceipts.com. We do not sell the data to third parties nor provide merchants access to data that they don’t already own.
